Prisoner of War Box

Made by Napoleonic Prisoners of War, early 19th Century. The lidded box with beautifully carved and pierced bone decorations, the lid with two huntsmen on horseback, floral and geometric designs to sides and lid, carved feet on each corner. Interior, with inside lid and compartments lined with original blue paper. Key to fit lock on side of box.
