American whalebone Jewel Box

Of pine construction, inlaid and veneered with geometric patterns of whalebone, ivory and mahogany, the lid similarly patterned with an ivory and turned wood handle. Interior lined with red velvet, removable top tray and four compartments beneath, inscribed on bottom:-“A. Jennings, Sitka Alaska” .
